In less than 15 seconds, The Fertilizer Wizard and The Fertilizer Spreader Wizard will calculate how many square feet almost any bag of fertilizer will cover as well as how much fertilizer to use when calibrating a fertilizer spreader at six different industry standard rates.

The Fertilizer Wizard is a unique slide rule that educates homeowners on how to:

  • 1. properly define what the numbers on a bag of fertilizer mean.
  • 2. Properly calculate how many nutrients are in a bag of fertilizer.
  • 3. Select a proper fertilizer application rate  (six industry standard rates) depending on the time of year and the nutrients in the bag.
  • 4. Decide when to start and stop fertilizing their lawn as well as how much fertilizer they should use for the entire season.
  • 5. Properly apply  the fertilizer with their own fertilizer spreader.
  • 6. Properly  calculate how many square feet a bag of fertilizer (30, 40, 50 lbs.- an extra calculation can do 25, 35, and 45 lbs. too) will cover at six industry standard rates based on the size of their lawn(great for managers who have large turf acreage).

The Fertilizer Spreader Wizard is a unique slide rule that educates  homeowners how to:
  • 1. Properly define what the numbers on a bag of fertilizer mean.
  • 2. Properly calculate how many nutrients are in a bag of fertilizer.
  • 3. Select a proper fertilizer application rate ( six industry standard rates) depending on the time of year.
  • 4. Decide when to start and stop fertilizing their lawn as well as how much fertilizer they should apply for the entire season.
  • 5. Properly calibrate (a scale to weigh the fertilizer in both pounds and ounces is required) their own fertilizer spreader  to apply the correct amount of fertilizer depending on the rate they chose using any fertilizer they want no matter what size lawn they have(great for mangers of large turf areas).
